Terms and conditions

• The rates are expressed in us dollars, per person, based on double occupancy.
• 15-20% commission for agencies.
• The supplement of a suite in simple accommodation is 50% extra of the regular rate of an adult.
• Policies of children: the minimum age required to travel is 7 years. Children 7 to 11 years of age have a 50% discount on the regular rate of an adult. Children must be accompanied by 1 adult in the same cabin, it accepts a maximum of 1 child per cabin.

INCLUDES

• All meals aboard the M/F ARAPAIMA EXPEDITIONS
• All the excursions and equipment (including proper hiking boots and ponchos).
• Transfers from / to the boat when arriving on recommended flights to Iquitos.
• In case of being housed in hotels in the city of Iquitos – report to the department of sales and bookings to coordinate the pick up pre or post tour.
• Entrance fee to the National Reserve Pacaya-Samaria.
• Natural juices, coffee, herbal teas and water are included during the meals

NOT INCLUDED

• Domestic flights.
• Cost of medical emergencies (including evacuation emergency)
• Rules of Tipping. Aboard the M/F ARAPAIMA EXPEDITIONS it is recommended that an amount in the range of $ 10- $ 15 per passenger per night for the crew (which will be split between all members of the crew), and between $ 7 – $10 per passenger per night in the guides. * Please note that these quantities which have been suggested levels of perks, and that this is entirely at the discretion of our guests aboard the ships.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

• Bookings made 90 days or more prior to the date of shipment, and is required a deposit of$300.00 per person to confirm reservation.
• The final payment must be paid 90 days before the start of the journey. if the payment was not received on time, automatically, the reservation will be released.
• Bookings made 90 days or less in advance, full payment and non-refundable is required to confirm the reservation.

POLICIES CANCELLATION  

• Cancellations made 120 days or more in advance, all deposits will be refunded less $.- 250.00 for administrative and operational expenses.
• Cancellations made 90 days or less in advance, full payment will be applied as a cancellation penalty and will not be refunded.
• Our rates allow change of date for one year from the date of purchase.
• Our rates allow change of passenger name, this change can be performed during one year from the date of purchase.
• Date changes will be made according to availability on the day of the request. Changes subject to availability.
• ARAPAIMA EXPEDITIONS, it applies a penalty of $ 400 for changes to the booking (travel date, names of passengers, itineraries or other). This penalty will apply for each time you request a change in the reserve.
